Luca Turilli's RHAPSODY - Opera Tenor RICCARDO CECCHI On Tour As Special Guest

Riccardo Cecchi, tenor of the Lyrical Choir Giuseppe Verdi Di Roma (also featured in the Woody Allen movie To Rome With Love), will join Rhapsody on the European dates of the upcoming Prometheus Cinematic Tour 2016 (January 15th - February 19th).

Riccardo Cecchi is the new special guest to be announced after the lead soprano Emilie Ragni, who sang on many tracks of the new
album Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus.

“His voice is magnificent,” states the lead singer Alessandro Conti, and adds: “No compromise. We want to offer some memorable shows and Riccardo will greatly contribute to the cinematic impact of our tour with all his talent!”

“In the cinematic music of Rhapsody the choral aspect and its emotional impact is really fundamental,” affirms the drummer Alex Landenburg, and adds: ”We’ll be finally able to offer in our shows a unique live experience, having two great artists sharing the stage with Alessandro and singing the main voices of our greatest choral parts”.

Composer Luca Turilli says: “My ultimate artistic dream is turning into a great reality.

Luca Turilli’s Rhapsody, the creators of cinematic metal, recently announced the bands that will share the stage with them on the upcoming European Prometheus Cinematic Tour. The band will tour in support of their latest album, Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus, released by Nuclear Blast Records.

Guests include:

Iron Mask (January 15 - 30)
Temperance (January 31 - February 16)
Asylum Pyre (January 15 - 30)
Qantice (January 31 - February 16)
Ancient Bards (in Italy from February 17 - 19)

Guitarist Dominique Leurquin affirms: “It is really amazing to be on tour with such great bands and musicians. Different styles of music for all tastes, different attitudes, but the same glorious approach to art based on heart and soul!”

Bassist Patrice Guers adds: “Such a tour will represent a real emotional adventure: an amazing setlist, video projection, special guests, surprises... We are all waiting for you. Stay Cinematic!”

Rhapsody singer Alessandro Conti is very excited about this tour: “We are excited and proud to present the new world tour starting in Europe. We’ll enrich our cinematic shows with video-projections with strong visuals, a real trademark of our new Rhapsody band. A unique set list consisting of songs from our last albums, some Rhapsody classics, a few tracks from Luca Turilli’s solo discography and some songs that have never been played before. Moreover, Emilie Ragni, the lead soprano performing on Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus, will be on stage with us for some magic unforgettable duets. See you soon!”
