The European Carnage Tour 2011 featuring MEGADETH and SLAYER kicked off tonight, March 13th, with its first show in Kiev, Ukraine at the Expo. Megadeth's setlist for the night was as follows:

As previously reported, EXODUS guitarist Gary Holt will continue to replace Jeff Hanneman on Slayer's European Carnage tour. Jeff Hanneman is still recovering and is feeling better already. Holt also replaced Hanneman on guitar on the band's Australian shows earlier this month. He is currently recovering from surgery after an arm infection due to a spider bite.
