In the video footage below, MEGADETH leader Dave Mustaine talks to Vintage Rock's Junkman during Media Day at the 2013 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, where he premiered his new Dean double-neck guitar.

Discussing the band's label situation after parting ways with Roadrunner Records, Mustaine states: "We're with a great new label. We're doing a press release about it soon. I can't say who it is... I'd love to tell you who it is. We're not with Roadrunner anymore. That was some good years for us there, and we really look back with great fondness on our times with Roadrunner. But the excitement level for us right now is just insane."

Megadeth checked in late last night from Vic's Garage studio in San Marcos, California, where they're recording their upcoming 14th studio album.

The message stated: "David (Mustaine) and Shawn (Drover) have tracked 10 songs for our new album so far, and we are doing the last track tonight. Check it out!"

Footage of Megadeth recording tracks for the new album can be seen below:

The new, as yet untitled album, which is being produced by Johnny K (aka John Karkazis; MACHINE HEAD, DISTURBED) is expected later this year via a label to be announced.
