hot flashes news

Guitarist “Metal Mike Chlasciak (HALFORD, PAINMUSEUM) has issued the following message through his official website, www.planetshred.com:

“Greetings all. Metal Mike coming at you from the Metal Land. We regret to say that The Metal Gods 2003 tour dates have officially been suspended. We were really having a great time on the tour with our friends in all the bands. My new band PainmseuM has been really kicking some serious ass and I was just feeling like hey "I can do this thing twice a day". I know that Halford and Testament management and our new booking agency ICM from Los Angeles will have Halford out on the road extremely soon. Dates should be posted in a matter of days at www.robhalford.com. As far as PainmuseuM, well the debut record will just have to go thru a proper mixing stage and then we'll give the record to our new record company who will, let's hope, do their best to make this slab of Metal a success. One thing is for sure, as with anything around here, I won't sleep until things get done properly. PainmuseuM has some great shows and once again our last show in NYC at BB King's touched my heart as we had 100's of fans waiting for the band. I appreciate that, and you make all the day to day business nonsense worth it in the end. Thank you for your support.

The official PainmuseuM T-shirts are being offered for sale on the PainmuseuM site (www.painmuseum.com). They make a statement with the Forever Strong Metal Militia, NO Nu-Metal Theme. It's just how we feel around here, if you do as well, check it out. They have been received extremely well during the brief Metal Gods tour.

That is all ... did several phone interviews to radio stations across the US and such. New issues of Burrn! and Young Guitar have great new interviews with myself and Roy Z. Canada's BW&BK; issue #69 has also some Halford material.

Finally check out Martin Popoff's 500 Greatest Heavy Metal Songs of All Time (ECW) book that was just released. Halford's Resurrection and Silent Screams made the top 500. Thanks for voting. I also have a little section in the book. It's available in the US and Canada for sure.

That is all, some exciting PainmuseuM events will be coming your way soon, so stay tuned.
