The Orion Music + More Festival, founded by METALLICA, will take place in Detroit, MI at Belle Isle Park on June 8th and 9th.

Metallica check in with a quick update: "We're bringing the Vans Vert Ramp to Detroit and attaching the Damage Inc. stage to it this year at Orion Music + More. Watch riders tear up the 30-foot wide Vert Ramp while live band (and very special guests) perform during demos!"

Orion Music + More Festival recently announced a very special addition to the event, an original lineup reunion of INFECTIOUS GROOVES, featuring Mike Muir (SUICIDAL TENDENCIES), Robert Trujillo (Metallica), Stephen Perkins (JANE'S ADDICTION), Dean Pleasants (Suicidal Tendencies), and special guest Jim Martin (ex-FAITH NO MORE), filling in for original guitarist Adam Siegel).

"To reunite with those guys after 22 years is going to be really special for me. Orion is the perfect place for that to happen...I'm looking forward to it," said Robert Trujillo.

Other newly confirmed acts include: ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT, VISTA CHINO, and DEAD SARA.

The 2013 Orion Music + More Festival will feature Metallica, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, RISE AGAINST, DEFTONES and BASSNECTAR, while the festival will also feature amazing acts including GOGOL BORDELLO, FOALS, TOMAHAWK, THE JOY FORMIDABLE, DEATH GRIPS and local Detroit bands THE DIRTBOMBS, DEATH and BATTLECROSS.
