METALLICA, KISS, FOREIGNER Members Attend New York Premiere Of LED ZEPPELIN's Celebration Day

According to Reuters, Kirk Hammett (METALLICA), Paul Stanley (KISS) and Mick Jones (FOREIGNER) attended the New York premiere of LED ZEPPELIN's Celebration Day - a concert film based on their highly anticipated 2007 comeback gig in London. Founding members singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones were joined by Jason Bonham, the son of late drummer John Bonham. "I think we've done a pretty good job with this," Page remarked on the red carpet. "And people will get a chance to see the communication between us on stage and the passion that we have. Led Zeppelin unites for tribute concert movie... by reuters Celebration Day will have its UK premiere at London's Hammersmith Apollo on October 12th. Jones, Page, and Plant will also be attendance for this special event. A very limited number of tickets are available here. Premieres for the film will follow in Berlin on October 15th, where Jones is confirmed to attend and Tokyo on October 16th, where Page will be in attendance. Although 20 million people applied for tickets, the band’s first headline show in 27 years was seen only by the 18,000 ticket holders who were fortunate enough to have secured seats through the worldwide lottery.
