A new message from the band states: "As everyone shifts their attention to the North Pole, we've got one last video to share from down in Antarctica. Watch our full gig from our seventh conquered continent on our YouTube channel in HD. Thanks again to Coca-Cola Zero for putting it all together and to Burton Snowboards for keeping us warm!"

Metallica's gig in Antarctica is available for download now at LiveMetallica.com.

MetallicaTV reports back from Antarctica with a 20-minute video including some funny moments during soundcheck, a jam on 'The Wait', and a clip of 'Creeping Death' from the show.

Coca-Cola Zero released pre-show interview footage with the band, as well as a recap of the live performance. Check out the footage below:

Said the band: "This was the most unique show Metallica has ever done. The band, contest winners, research station scientists (from Russia, South Korea, China, Poland, Chile, Brazil and Germany), and the ship crew, all crammed in this little dome out on the helipad of Carlini Station in Antarctica! The energy in the little dome was amazing! Words can not describe how happy everyone was."
