METALLICA - Orion Music + More To Be Held At Detroit's Belle Isle Park?

As reported this week, METALLICA's second annual Orion Music + More will be held on June 8th and 9th in Detroit, MI. According to Crain's Detroit Business, several sources have said, off the record, that organizers are seriously considering Belle Isle as a destination for the two-day concert. Belle Isle is a 982-acre island park in the Detroit River, between the United States mainland and Canada, managed by the Detroit Recreation Department.

The Orion Music + More festival debuted last June in Atlantic City, NJ and featured multiple live music stages plus a lifestyle element that reflects each of Metallica's band members many personal interests. The thrash legends headlined both nights of the fest ( June 23rd - 24th) and played Ride The Lightning and The Black Album in their entirety.
