Metallica gave Fresno, California more than a great show over the weekend at the Save Mart Center. According to KFSN-TV, the band's non-profit foundation also helped feed local families.

Metallica shared the following message via social media: "Thank you to all the fans at #MetInFresno for raising this money with us. 70,000 meals is going to do a lot of good in this community!"

The Central California Food Bank says this donation will help provide 70,000 meals in their community. The donation totalled $10,000.
