In the Artisan News report below, METALLICA talk about getting the RONNIE JAMES DIO Lifetime Achievement Award at the Revolver Golden Gods and the passing of SLAYER guitarist Jeff Hanneman:
After receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award last night at the fifth annual Revolver Golden Gods award show at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, California, Metallica took to the stage for a quick set.
The band performed four songs including 'Disposable Heroes', 'For Whom the Bell Tolls', JUDAS PRIEST's 'Rapid Fire' (for which they were joined by ROB HALFORD), and 'Seek And Destroy'.
