Metallica frontman James Hetfield is narrating a new History channel series, The Hunt, documenting the Kodiak bear hunt in Alaska. Episode #1 can now be seen online at this location.

Entitled Predator Or Prey?, a description of Episode #1 of The Hunt reads: The long-standing tradition of the Fall Hunt begins on Kodiak Island. Alaskan resident Hillarie Putnam joins in for the first time with a single shot muzzleloader. Meanwhile, veteran hunting guide Mike Horstman helps local cattle rancher Chris Flickenger track a bear that has killed one of his horses.

Earlier this week, Metallica released fly on the wall footage shot by the MetOnTour reporter on June 1st in Oslo, Norway. Footage includes the band in the Met Club Meet & Greet, warming up in the Tuning Room and both "Fade To Black" and "For Whom The Bell Tolls" from the show.
