METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich talks about the band's visit to Abu Dhabi, UAE - the second time in their 30-plus year career - TheNationalNewspaper below.
Lars says: "When we were here a year and a half ago it was really magical. And I don't say that everywhere. Obviously there were people from the UAE, but there were so many other kids who had come in from Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Saudi, Kuwait … Lots of different nationalities, but great energy and a great shared experience. So coming back here was a no-brainer."
