MICHAEL ANGELO BATIO has confirmed that his eighth solo album titled, Intermezzo, is due out on November 14th. Featuring guest appearances by Rusty Cooley, George Lynch, Craig Goldy, Guthrie Govan, Jeff Loomis, Joe Stump, Dave Reffett, Elliott Rubinson and more, Intermezzo will be available on iTunes, Amazon and Angelo.com. An eBay auction has recently launched for a guitar previously owned by Michael Angelo Batio. A description of the guitar reads below:

"There's fast, there's shred, and then there's Michael Angelo Batio. This is the greatest shred machine ever crafted for the world's premiere shred guitarist.

This is the same exact guitar used by Michael in NITRO recordings, can be seen in MTV's 'Freight Train' video (including MTV's Headbangers Ball), MAB's 'Speed Kills' video, and Nitro's 'O.F.R.' and 'H.W.D.W.S.' recordings. It is USA hand-crafted by Wayne Richard Charvel with documentation. The guitar is in excellent condition. It has been housed in its hardshell case since 2007 in a sunlight-free, smoke-free, humidity and temperature controlled environment. Everything functions on the guitar as it should. Michael used this guitar on the entire "Nitro OFR" tour, on the song 'No Boundaries' from his Speed Kills instructional program and on the second Nitro CD 'H.W.D.W.S.' This guitar was also used for a live performance on the MTV show Headbangers Ball.'"
