As previously reported, MIDNATTSOL recently finished recording their debut album, Where Twilight Dwells, at Mastersound Studios. It is due to be released through Napalm Records in early 2005, but the buzz is already growing. A demo version of the song 'Desolate' was posted online at this location a couple months ago and has received over 4,000 hits.

The track list for Where Twilight Dwells is as follows: ‘Another Return’, ‘Lament’, ‘Unpayable Silence’, ‘Haunted’, ‘Desolate’, ‘Enlightenment’, ‘Tårefall’, ‘Infinite Fairytale’, ‘På Leting', ‘Dancing With The Midnight Sun’, and ‘Tapt Av Håp’ (‘Loss Of Hope’).

The band features vocalist Carmen Elise Espenaes, the younger sister of LEAVES' EYES singer Liv Kristine, who can currently be heard on the band's new Lovelorn album and as a guest vocalist on the title track of CRADLE OF FILTH's latest debauched offering, Nymphetamine. Carmen Elise was recently offered the chance to tour as a backing vocalist for COF but turned them down to concentrate on her studies and Midnattsol.
