MONSTER TRUCK has been confirmed to appear as direct support for ALTER BRIDGE on a US coast-to-coast run. The 12-date tour will begin on April 14th in Dallas, TX with the initially announced appearances cited below.

Monster Truck appeared as support for SLASH when they first set their sights on the US market. The former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist shared, "Monster Truck is one of the few really down to earth rock n roll bands I've heard in the last couple of years. Hard, soulful and heavy." Singer Myles Kennedy, who enjoys a prolific career as frontman in Slash's ensemble as well as being the vocalist of Alter Bridge, took an interest in Monster Truck. That relationship, and outspoken support, was the primary driver in delivering this run with two bands sharing the stage.

Monster Truck guitarist Jeremy Wildman offers, "We are extremely excited to tour with one of the top rock acts in America and even happier to rejoin the road with our good friend Myles. See ya soon!" Vocalist and bassist Jon Harvey adds, “Looking forward to watching many stellar shows by the Alter Bridge boys. Watch out America! A real rock ‘n roll tour is on the way!"

Monster Truck and Dine Alone Records have selected 'The Lion' as the follow-up single to their debut hit 'Sweet Mountain River' from the album, Furiosity. The lyric video premiered can be viewed below:

Hailing from Ontario, Canada, Monster Truck was formed in 2009 by Jon Harvey (bass, lead vocals), Jeremy Widerman (guitar, vocals), Brandon Bliss (organ, vocals) and Steve Kiely (drums, vocals). What began as a side-project to their other more ‘serious’ bands quickly gained momentum and took on a life of its own. The band has released two EPs since their inception; a self-titled, and notably self-released EP produced by Gus Van Go and Werner F (PRIESTESS) and The Brown EP (also produced by Ratz) on Dine Alone Records.

Produced by Eric Ratz (THREE DAYS GRACE) at Vespa Studios in Toronto, ON and Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, NC, Furiosity showcases Monster Truck’s ability to seamlessly integrate influences from grunge and punk era greats that they love so dearly with alt-sounding vintage rock. The resulting album remains anchored in grooves, yet propulsive and volcanic, fueled by front man Jon Harvey’s colossal and impressive vocal delivery.
