On Saturday, April 20th VH1 Classic will premiering an all new Behind The Music Remastered featuring MOTÖRHEAD at 9:00pm EST / 8:00pm Central. Check out a preview below:

Motörhead, the hardest working, hardest touring band in the world has one of the biggest years yet in 2013. The Grammy-award winners have been in the recording studio working on their next album, scheduled for release later this year.

It will be the follow-up to the highly successful CD, The Wörld Is Yours. Written and performed by Lemmy Kilmister, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee, the new record is being made with longtime producer Cameron Webb, who also worked on The Wörld Is Yours, Motörizer, Kiss Of Death and Inferno.

Greg Prato from BraveWords caught up with Lemmy recently who talked about their forthcoming untitled disc (thirteenth overall). "We've got eleven songs so far. I'm just writing words to them at the moment, and putting bass and vocals on the tracks. So we'll see - it will take a little while. It's going all right though." Confirmed song titles that Lemmy was willing to offer up are 'Outsider' and 'Silence When You Speak to Me'.

Motörhead officially launched Motörheadphones at the Consumer Electronics Shows in Las Vegas in January. As the “loudest band in the world,” it's fitting that they would go in this direction. The new brand, Motörheadphones, has had unprecedented success throughout Europe prior to making their debut in the United States at the CES show. They were developed by the band and targeted to the rock audience, one of the largest audiences of music listeners. “These new headphones are not like the weak-kneed, lily-livered, tin-pot, skinny sounding little pieces of garbage out on the market today,” says Lemmy, “We designed these headphones to deliver everything louder than anything else, and with the sort of range, clarity and TRUE rock reproduction you'd expect from a band of warriors like us.”

Are you thirsty? There's Motörhead wine, beer and vodka (which is a premium, 80 proof Vodka made from 100% locally grown wheat that has been distilled and bottled in Sweden. It has a rich, full-bodied and complex character, with a light and fruity aftertaste. Now comes Motörhead Bourbon. Lemmy calls it Snakebite Bourbon. As his drink of preference, he wanted to have his own brand. “We have a range of intoxicants,” he says.

Being the true road warriors they are, Motörhead will kick off their worldwide live assault with festivals in Mexico, then off to Europe for a major headline tour beginning in May and culminating with the HUGE Wacken Festival in Germany in August to a sold-out crowd of 80,000.

When asked about the current state of rock and roll, admitting that the music industry has changed, Lemmy still sees the positive side. “There will always be some spotty, pissed off band in a garage somewhere, with cheap guitars, ready to bash your head in…which is as it should be.”

All in all, the lifestyle that is Motörhead, is one of the world's greatest rock 'n' roll acts, who will have a brand new rebel-rousing statement with their new record later this year, an absolute stormer in this, their 37th year as THE greatest, loudest, coolest and most iconic band ever.
