Radio Metal has issued an interview with MOTÖRHEAD's Phil Campbell. Notably, Phil strongly expresses his discontent towards Lemmy: 49% Motherf**ker, 51% Son Of A Bitch film makers:

Q: You and Mikkey rarely appear in the movie. How come? You’ve been his bandmates for so long…

A: "Speak to the movie people! That’s what we’re pissed off about. They spent three years following me around and Mikkey around, all of us, you know, three fucking years and the biggest shot they got of me is laying down to sleep in the bus with Familly Guy on the TV! (Laughs) The movie’s about Lem but it’s really insulting to us. What a bunch of cunts!"

On an other subject, Phil reveals that the next Motörhead album might be a cover album: "I had the idea to do an acoustic album. We might also do a cover album. Our next album might be this album of cover. We’ve done loads of these. We’ve done 'Cat Scratch Fever', we’ve done 'Shoot ‘Em Down' by TWISTED SISTER, 'Hellraiser' by OZZY, 'God Save The Queen' by the SEX PISTOLS, we got 'Rockaway Beach' by the RAMONES and more. But this album is just an idea for the future, we don’t know yet what’s going to be on it."

Phil also talks about the book he just began to write: "I’m doing my book at the moment; it’s going to contain a lot of funny stories. It’s a book about all the fucking unbelievable shit that goes down on the road ! (Laughs) Funny stuff, yeah. It’s not going to be about my life’s story, that’s boring! But we don’t know yet when it’s going to be released. We’re starting it now but I guess we can expect it to be out in about three years."

The already-larger-than-life Motörhead mainman Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister is headed to the big screen this winter, as the acclaimed new documentary Lemmy: 49% Motherf**ker, 51% Son Of A Bitch (Damage Case Films/Megaforce) is confirmed for theatrical bookings around the country.

The first round of screenings to be announced include: New York City (Cinema Village, opening January 28), Austin (The Draft House Downtown, January 14-21), Seattle (Film Forum, February 4-10), Portland, OR (Clinton St. Theater, January 14-21), and Atlanta (The Plaza Theatre, opening January 14).

More cities will be announced soon.

Critics around the world can't get enough of Lemmy. The film won the Best Documentary prize at the In Edit Film Festival in Santiago, Chile last weekend, and it's been a major hit at dozens of other international festivals, including screenings in France, England, Germany, Spain, Australia, The Netherlands, and South Korea. Currently in theaters in the UK, Lemmy has recently sold out screenings in Paris, Berlin and Tokyo, where it was rated by one firm as the second most popular film in theaters last weekend.

The DVD, a-two disc set packed with more than four hours of bonus features, will be released February 15 and will be available for digital download and on Blu-ray. Filmed over more than three years, and directed by Greg Olliver and Wes Orshoski, "Lemmy" features appearances by artists spanning the musical spectrum, from METALLICA, OZZY OSBOURNE and SLASH to Peter Hook (NEW ORDER, JOY DIVISION), Mick Jones (THE CLASH) and Jarvis Cocker.

Official trailers for Lemmy can be viewed below:

Lemmy will be released in the UK, Germany, France and Scandinavia on DVD by Entertainment One on January 24, 2011.

Greg Olliver and Wes Orshoski spent three years following Kilmister around the globe - from his Hollywood home to the hockey arenas of Russia.

Hailed as a godfather of heavy metal, 64-year-old Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister has established himself as the living embodiment of rock and roll over the past four decades. After stints with popular Mersey beat band THE ROCKIN' VICKERS and influential psychedelic rockers HAWKWIND, and even a brief time spent as a member of JIMI HENDRIX' road crew, Lemmy formed Motörhead in 1975.

Going on to record such influential metal classics as 'Overkill', 'Ace of Spades' and 'Bomber', the Grammy Award-winning Motörhead and Kilmister's fusion of punk and metal registered a major influence on such bands as METALLICA, GUNS N' ROSES and NIRVANA.

Members of METALLICA, VELVET REVOLVER, ANTHRAX, HENRY ROLLINS and other stars talk about who would play Lemmy in a movie, from the amazing bonus section on Lemmy: 49% Motherf**ker, 51% Son Of A Bitch. Check it out on YouTube below:

2010 marks the 35th anniversary of the birth of Motörhead, which features Kilmister, guitarist Phil Campbell and drummer Mikkey Dee.

Motörhead has announced their 2011 North American tour dates to celebrate the band's 35th anniversary and the release their new studio album, The Wörld Is Yours, on February 8th, 2011.

Motörhead are a mindset, a belief, a way to live your life, a way to both survive and beat a society that sometimes seems intent on trying to grind you down. Which is why Motörhead have chosen now, in what might be some of the most tense times in recent global history, to release a hell-raising, rebel-rousing rock'n'roll statement known as The Wörld Is Yours.

If that isn't enough, the critically-acclaimed documentary about Motörhead's iconic founding-frontman, titled Lemmy, which has been tearing up the worldwide film festival circuit from New York to Melbourne to London and beyond, will premiere nationally in January.

“We don't fit into anything!” roars founder and heartbeat Lemmy Kilmister,"the only thing we fit into is 'Motörhead' because we are Motörhead music and that's what we do!"
