MYTHERY Release Video “Epoch Of Destruction”; Bid Farewell To Departed Members

For about two years ago the six members of Mythery entered the studio to record the band's debut album The Awakening Of The Beast, which saw its release in August 2013. Today the band only consists of three members and with the release of the video for ”Epoch Of Destruction” from the debut album, the first chapter, in a row of many of the tale of Mythery comes to an end.

Here’s the statement from Nikolaj Holger, drummer of Mythery:

"United by a strong belief in ourselves offering a new and refreshing sound to the metal genre, we spent countless hours in the rehearsal studio, aiming to make this, our first release, a unique record of undeniable quality. In collaboration with our friends at our record label Mighty Music the album was released in August 2013, catching the attention of devoted rock and metal listeners all around the World, whose support we are very grateful of.

In the wake of the release they embarked on a tour in their home country Denmark. At its completion our keyboard player Mikkel Rosenbeck announced that he was leaving the band to pursue other musical interests.

At this point my intention was for Mythery to move forward as a five-piece band and the preparations for recording our second album had begun. However, during the spring of 2014 both violin player Michala Hoj and bass player Tobias Dall decided to quit the band as well.

The purpose of this press release is to pass on the best of luck to my three former bandmates on their respective musical journeys, and at the same time promise our fans that Mythery will endure. Additions or changes to the line-up might happen, the recording of our second album might be postponed – but as soon as the band's structure is rebuilt, Mythery will rise again and mark their territory in the landscapes of progressive rock and metal.

Stay tuned on our website and Facebook page, to keep track of where the band goes from here.

Thanks for your support, and stay metal!”
