Fresh off their recent two-pronged European tour, NEUROSIS will congregate at a one-off performance in Providence, Rhode Island this Saturday, August 24th.
This special ceremony has been arranged as part of the city-wide NecronomiCon - a four-day convention exploring the works of H.P. Lovecraft and other past and present writers as an exploration of the intersection of science and art that lays at the foundation of the "Cthulhu Mythos" genre.
Neurosis will take the stage at Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel to perform a massive set as part of the festivities, with support from avant/crushing solo act LUSTMORD. The early show opens with the 45-minute silent film, The Call Of Cthulhu, about the Strand Theater - now Lupo's - and how it was Lovecraft's favorite movie theater to attend.
