HELIX frontman Brian Vollmer has posted the following message at the band's official website:

"Well, we’re coming down to the wire now ladies and gentlemen! On your mark! Start your engines! Take a deep breath and jump in!

This tour will last from March 7th-March 18th, 11 dates in total, one day off to drive. We begin in Thunder Bay, Ontario and end up in Edmonton, Alberta. Upon returning home Brian Doerner (drums) will be saying goodbye to us as he is off to tour Europe with SAGA, having drummed on their soon to be released album. He will be replaced by Brent Niemi for the ALICE COOPER tour which begins May 3rd in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Be sure to come out and find out why Brian D. is considered one of the best drummers in all of Canada.

I’ll be sending in a day-by-day account of the tour to our illustrious Grand Poo Bah Webmaster Ron Kingyens. Be sure to tune in to see what life is really like on the road. Our first week out is going to be brutal-long drives each day-but the second half through Alberta (with a slight dip into British Columbia for the Elkford date) should be smooth sailing. Once I get home I’ll be here for a week and then Lynda and I are off to Mexico for a little R&R;, returning home mid-March.

Recording: Don’t know if we’ll get enough time, but I’d like to lay three more tracks down in April at Mole Studios. As those of you who follow the update each week know, I've been writing with Gord Prior and Steve Georgakolous for a couple of months now and the tunes are really flowing. those that have heard the new material comment that the songs are very reminiscent of the No Rest For The Wicked album."
