Established in 1989 and sharing the scene with UK thrash counterparts Onslaught, Acid Reign, and Lawnmower Deth, Nightlord return with a statement of pure old school thrash intent with this complex slab of nine unrelenting, fist shaking tracks. 

Available today, August 14th, Reborn In Darkness was mixed and mastered by legendary producer Chris Tsangarides (Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Bruce Dickinson) and boasts an exceptional analogue recording approach by the band that is purposefully steeped in the underground traditions, sounds and attitude of the original wave of thrash metal which Nightlord helped spearhead in the late '80s.  

The first single from the album, "Sin Eater", has been released via Evil EyE Records; see the official video for the track below.

In 2017, Nightlord are back with a renewed sense of purpose, energy and determination to showcase the very spirit, intensity and crushing heaviness that made the First Wave Of Thrash Metal so dangerous, volatile and unpredictable.

Nightlord founder Ferenc Collins adds: "This is not an album of 100 takes-per-song with guitars edited so tight it sounds ridiculously clinical. The finished result is glorious. In the process of preserving the old-school sound we have managed to make an album that really sounds organic and human. The passion and intensity shines through to give it such a powerful and natural analogue old-school sound which is exactly what we aimed for and why we aimed high and targeted Chris Tsangarides especially for this project."
