NIGHTWISH Announce 'The Crow, The Owl And The Dove' Video Contest Winner; Finalists Videos Posted

NIGHTWISH recently invited their fans from around the world to express their creativity by making their own video for ther new single track 'The Crow, The Dove And The Owl' off the band’s recent Imaginaerum album.
About 200 creative fans uploaded their unique creations on YouTube.The band members, their management and label were totally flashed by the different clips, the great ideas and the amazing results any participant showed.
Tuomas Holopainen comments: "We were overwhelmed about the effort people had put into making these videos, wow! This truly caught us by surprise. Wonderful job everyone!"
It wasn’t easy to choose a winner, as everyone would have deserved a prize. Anyway, the whole band, members of their Management KingFoo and their label Nuclear Blast have decided... the winner is Pedro José Antunes Hipólito Calvo from Portugal.
"His beautiful clip simply touched our heart. The winner has a beautiful thought behind the video and is truly sympathetic and touching in its naivety“, says Tuomas Holopainen.
Pedro will receive a special award, free access to any Nightwish concerts on this tour, a meet and greet with the band and lots of merchandise items.
The 2nd prize goes to Daniel McCarthy from England, and the 3rd prize goes to Wolfgang Stefan Jungwirth from Austria.
Nuclear Blast decided to also add more prizes for 4th and 5th place: the 4th prize goes to Jennifer Klug from Canada, and the 5th prize goes to Elizabeth Cooper from Australia.

'The Crow, The Owl And The Dove' single was released in Finland on February 29th and March 2nd throughout the rest of Europe. The single features the previously unreleased song called 'The Heart Asks Pleasure First' (theme from movie The Piano) in two different versions, including an instrumental one. 'The Crow, The Owl And The Dove' is featured in three versions: the radio-edit, album version and an instrumental.
