They are the Midland musicians starring in the only charts that really count - the top musical millionaires.
Robert Plant and Ozzy Osbourne figure prominently in the main chart where ££££notes are more significant than musical ones. Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are reckoned to be worth a cool £130 million. They are listed at #17 in this year’s Sunday Times Rich List of the Top 40 music millionaires in the UK and Ireland.
And West Bromwich born, former Led Zepplin star Plant is at #23, jointly with Jimmy Page, with both men said to have £100 million fortunes.
