Ozzy Osbourne and son Jack’s new program, Ozzy & Jack's World Detour, premieres this Sunday, July 24th at 10 PM, ET on History. Ahead of the show’s premiere, New York Post caught up with the 67-year-old singer who discussed, via e-mail, the show, his family, interplanetary travel and even some history. An excerpt follows:
NY Post: Which historical period would you like to live in and why?
Ozzy: “I think this particular moment in history is really interesting. Who would have thought Donald Trump would become a presidential nominee? Life really is full of surprises, and there’s history being made around every corner.”
NY Post: On the show, you seem very interested in whether the astronauts could drink alcohol in space. If NASA offered you a chance to go into space, would you take it, knowing you can’t drink while you’re there?
Ozzy: “Absolutely, I’d head up there in a heartbeat. I don’t drink on Earth anymore either - I haven’t had a drink in four years and am very proud of it. I wonder if they have AA on Mars? If so, book me a meeting!”
