Phil Anselmo (Down, Pantera) is featured in the clip below discussing with Metal Hammer the Download Festival, his time growing up, and Pantera performing Donnington back in the day:
On June 15th, Kill Devil Hill - featuring former Pantera bassist Rex Brown - performed at the Download festival at Donington Park in Leicestershire, UK. During their set the band was joined by vocalist Phil Anselmo for a cover of the Pantera classic "Mouth For War". Fan-filmed video is available below:
On the same day, Phil Anselmo & The Illegals performed at the festival and were joined by Brown for the Pantera classic "A New Level":
Hellyeah and former Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul is featured in a new interview on the 99X radio station in Shreveport, Louisiana. During the interview he addressed Pantera's legacy and why he's against hitting the stage under the band's name ever again.
Vinnie: "The legacy of that band is pretty amazing, and I don't want it ever being tarnished by any kind of hack version of the band going out there. It's not the same without Dime (brother Darrell Abbott) being a part of it. And I think it's just great history and we need to leave it alone, and everybody that was part of it needs to move on."
