PHOENIX DOWN To Hit The Studio With GUNS N' ROSES / METALLICA Producer Steve Thompson

Las Vegas-based act PHOENIX DOWN is set to head into the studio with Steve Thompson - Five-time Grammy winner, two diamond awards, over 100 gold and platinum albums and over 250 million in record sales; most famous for his work on the multi-platinum debut from GUNS N' ROSES Appetite For Destruction and METALLICA's ...And Justice For All.
Says the band: "To help facilitate, the band will be kicking off a Kickstarter program hoping that some of the proceeds will be used to help pay for the work Mr. Thompson will be doing with us, as well as to help the band get some funds together for a forthcoming tour so we can bring all of this to you!"
A Kickstarter campaign will be kicking off to raise funds to allow Mark Sewell, Chris Downs, and Phil Berger the members of Phoenix Down to begin truly chasing their musical dreams. And easier bring their music to all of you. During the first week of February the band was put into contact with the aforementioned Steve Thompson about coming on board to help take the band to the next place. That said, it becomes obvious that I am very interested in the band Phoenix Down and would be happy to be part of their success.
