POISON - Limited Edition Look What The Cat Dragged In 30th Anniversary Picture Disc LP Available

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Poison's debut album, Look What The Cat Dragged In, Universal Music has issued an exclusive picture disc LP printed on white vinyl limited to 1,000 copies worldwide. Go to UDiscoverMusic.com to purchase your copy.

In a new interview with NorthJersey.com, Bret Michaels reflects on Poison’s early days.

Michaels started Poison in his hometown just outside of Harrisburg, PA with bassist Bobby Dall and drummer Rikki Rockett. In 1984, the band traveled across the country in a dilapidated ambulance to Los Angeles to pursue their musical dreams. C.C. Deville took over the band's guitar slot soon after Poison arrived in California.

"We had no money and knew we'd be living in poverty conditions," Michaels said. "We lived behind a dry cleaners on sleeping bags. But never once did I want to give up."

And speaking of Poison, Michaels hopes to hit the road with the band next year; they last toured in 2012.

"I'm beyond thankful for Rikki and C.C. and Bobby," he said. "These guys are an important part of my life and I'm hoping that Poison and Def Leppard can tour together next spring."
