PRONG’s Tommy Victor Does Not Want To Celebrate 30 Year Anniversary; Video

Robb Chavez of cult-video show, Robbs MetalWorks interviewed Tommy Victor of Prong during the band's recent tour stop on April 28th at The Korova venue.  The chat covers a variety of topics to include how the band's new release X-No Absolutes was enhanced through collaboration and a new vocal approach, the band's 30 year anniversary, his band mates, Art Cruz and Jason Christopher and why he will never be able to re-issue nor re-master any of the band's classic releases.

Victor says that he does not want to celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary because he doesn’t feel like it has been 30 years due to the fact the band was inactive for a period of time and with the member changes the band has faced.

On the topic of new Prong music, Victor says a new album is being planned for September 2017.

Victor also explains that the band can’t reissue their albums due to a “really bad deal with Epic Records.”
