Quebec’s CARDINALS PRIDE Sign With New Damage Records; New EP Due In September, Lyric Video Streaming

Quebec metalcore band Cardinals Prid has announced that they will release their second EP, Those People Will Never Die, on September 4th via New Damage Records worldwide. Recorded by Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland at Atrium Audio in Lancaster, PA (August Burns Red, Texas in July), Those People Will Never Die follows Cardinals Pride’s 2012 breakout EP, Priorities. In anticipation of their latest EP, the band has just unveiled a lyric video for the single “Refracted” (see below).

Those People Will Never Die will be available to pre-order via New Damage Records on Friday August 7th. Fans who take advantage of the pre-order will receive “Refracted” as an instant grat track.

Established in 2010 in Quebec City, QC, Cardinals Pride is comprised of Paré, Mathieu Guay (vocals), Didier Archambault (guitar), Nicolas Doiron (guitar), Antoine McNulty-LaSalle (bass) and Nicolas Sénéchal (drums). Since the release of their EP Priorities in 2012, the 6-piece have played over 140 shows and along the way have built a name for themselves as one of Canada’s best new metalcore acts. Their latest EP, Those People Will Never Die will be the bands first release with New Damage Records.

“We are beyond excited to join the New Damage Records family,” Paré adds. “They are incredibly hardworking people and it feels good to have the support of such a great team. Also, their roster is filled with amazing bands and it's a nice feeling to see our name next to theirs. We are looking forward to seeing where this partnership will lead us.”
