QUEENSRŸCHE's Michael Wilton appeared on last weekend’s terrestrial version of The Classic Metal Show to talk about Queensrÿche business as well as his new project with Tim “Ripper” Owens called SOULBENDER.

During the course of the conversation, Wilton made it clear that last year’s work with guitarist Chris DeGarmo in no way means that DeGarmo is returning to Queensrÿche.

Q: "You guys put out a greatest hits package called Sign Of TheTimes last year the featured a cameo from guitarist Chris DeGarmo. I’m sure you know that when you do something like that, the fans start going 'Chris is coming back. Mike Stone is going to be let go.' Could that ever happen, or are you in a position where Chris is good and you guys are good, and everybody is just happy?

A: "I can’t speak for Chris, but he’s pretty solidified in what he’s doing right now. I know he’s still got his hands in the music industry. He always throws in ideas once in awhile. But I don’t think it’s a permanent fixture. It’s a, like you said, a cameo. It keeps his feet wet, and kind of keeps him in the business. There’s no plans on reuniting with him unless he can make a serious commitment."

Videos of the entire Michael Wilton interview are posted below, via YouTube...
