Earlier today, QUEENSRŸCHE, now featuring frontman Todd La Torre, posted a trailer for their forthcoming new album, due early next year and being produced by James Barton, the same engineer that worked on Operation: Mindcrime, Empire and Promised Land. Check it out below:

Todd La Torre has remarked about the worldwide response to the teaser:

"Thank you all for the amazing positive response to what we are doing. The teaser audio are demos only. We start tracking in two weeks. No outside writers have been used. This IS Queensrÿche's writing and we're proud to introduce the next chapter of the legacy. We are very proud to have James Barton on board, he is surely the right man for this, as already proven. Lastly, I'm very happy to know that finally "my" voice will be heard in it's truest form. You all are appreciated so much. Thank you from all of us."

Queensrÿche are due to hit the studio in December to begin recording the new album. Todd La Torre recently checked in recently with the following update:

"Listening to our demos and finishing arrangements, etc. Trust me, you will hear a severe difference in sound, style, and writing in the new Queensrÿche record as compared to the last several albums. We are very proud of what is being accomplished, and we hope the fans will find it refreshing. It's got some prog elements, heaviness, soul, darkness, and even something very radio worthy. Can't wait to have this out early next year! Thanks to all of you for your embrace and support. It matters."
