Report: GENE SIMMONS And Family Not Considered Suspects In Crimes Against Children Investigation Following Issue Of Search Warrant

KTLA is reporting that, according to police, detectives with the LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant Thursday, August 20th at the home of KISS legend Gene Simmons.

Simmons and his family were cooperative and were not considered suspects in the investigation, Lopez said.

A representative for Simmons confirmed to KTLA in a statement that police came to the family’s home Thursday “to discuss a crime that may have occurred on their property last year while Simmons was away on tour with KISS.”

“Neither Mr. Simmons nor any member of his family is a person of interest in the investigation,” the statement read in part.

The representative added that police had asked the family not to discuss the matter publicly so as not to compromise the investigation.
