On March 14th the Rock Meets Classic tour performed in Würzburg, Germany at the S.Oliver Arena. The clip below features special guest Gianna Nannini performing the classic "Volare" backed by The Mat Sinner Band and Bohemian Orchestra Prague:
On March 10th the annual Rock Meets Classic tour kicked off in Ingolstadt, Germany at the Saturn Arena. This year's line-up of featured guests includes Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), Rick Parfitt (Status Quo), Eric Martin (Mr. Big), John Wetton (Asia), Marc Storace (Krokus), and Italian singer Gianna Nannini. Martin checked in after the show with the following update:
"Hey kids... first shows are always a little sketchy, there's a couple miscues, not the right guitar for the song, an accident happens, etc. All that sh$t did happen (not to me, mofos. Ha!) but it was one of the best concerts I've ever done. The dream did come true; all my idols shined and I got to sing with all of them on the finale... #1 show with Rock Meets Classic, not a virgin anymore, it's all uphill from here.
