Rock-N-Pole Goddess KELLY MAGLIA Rides The Lightning With Her Just Enough Rough EP; Title Track Video Streaming

Metal has a new maiden with Kelly Maglia. Kelly not only channels the best of 80s glam metal (think Skid Row and Heart had a love child), but she does it with a Cirque du Soleil twist. Mötley Crüe may have thrown dollar bills at girls, girls, girls, but Kelly takes the pole back and enters the scene as a new kind of heavy metal Goddess: singer, acrobat and musician all at once.

The songstress released her first EP, Just Enough Rough, on December 1st. The EP ranges from feel-good modern hair metal to darker, progressive themes of alienation in modern American suburbia. Four of the EP’s five songs, co-written by Kelly, are her original lyrics and music. EP also features a revved up version of Aerosmith’s “Love In An Elevator” with a raucous video to match.

Kelly is set to take the metal world by storm with her high-octane theatrical shows and over-the-top costumes. Kelly’s live shows feature pole dancers, contortionists, and acrobats who light up the stage in Kelly’s original designs.
