Last month, the World Health Organization released data that 1.1 billion teenagers and young adults are at risk for hearing loss due to unsafe listening practices. On Wednesday, April 29th, people and organizations around the world began to commemorate the 20th annual International Noise Awareness Day.

As you know, Sammy Hagar has been involved with Starkey Hearing Foundation for a couple of years, most recently, traveling with their team to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to help give the gift of hearing to local residents. Aside from helping to provide over 100,000 free hearing aids to people in need each year, Starkey Hearing Foundation also aims to combat preventable hearing loss.
