SATYRICON To Hit The Studio In February; New Album Due In September

According to Metalfan.nl, Norwegian black metal staples SATYRICON are currently finishing off the songwriting for the eighth studio album. The recordings begin in February and will last until the summer. The release of the album is scheduled for September.
According to leader Satyr, the music will greatly differ from what the group has released in the two previous decades. Satyricon will premier new material at Oslo, Norway's Inferno Festival, which is being held at the venues Rockefeller, John Dee, Rock In, Blå, Unholy, Victoria and Revolver from March 27-30th.
