Singer Of Serbian Thrash Band SPACE EATER Dies In Fire

Boško Radišic, frontman and singer of thrash metal band SPACE EATER, died last night (June 2nd) in his apartment in Belgrade of smoke inhalation. Boško was 28, a student and one of the Serbian metal leaders. His sister Marija also died in the fire accident. She was 25.

In January 2009, Space Eater recorded one cover song ‘Speed Metal Manijak’ for a BOMBARDER tribute release, which is expected in late 2009 or beginning of the 2010. Space Eater was called to open for German thrash metal band DESTRUCTION in May and was scheduled to open for SODOM in September in Belgrade, Serbia.

The band had recorded the promo version of their second album, which will contain eight new songs: ‘Crush, Kill, Destroy’, ‘Say Your Prayers’, ‘Abort’, ‘F.A.A.’, ‘Up On These Shores’, ‘Quantum Leap’, ‘Divide & Conquer’ and ‘No Retreat’.

Space Eater is currently looking for a label interested to release it.
