SLASH Announces North American Dates; Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Appearance Confirmed

As SLASH (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) gears up for the May 22 release of his second solo studio album Apocalyptic Love, he’s announced a run of headlining shows in North America kicking off July 12th and wrapping August 4th with up-and-coming Canadian group MONSTER TRUCK supporting. An exclusive fan pre-sale begins this Wednesday, May 9th at 10 AM at Slashonline.com, and will feature packages including VIP meet and greets, and rare merch items such as signed guitars. Slash and his band. Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, are currently touring the US, a mix of headlining dates and festivals (Carolina Rebellion, Rock On the Range, Rocklahoma). Starting today, Monday, May 7th, fans will be given the opportunity to unlock unreleased tracks from Apocalyptic Love by sharing the app located on Slash's Facebook page with 10 of their friends. From Monday through Friday of next week, 5 new tracks will be previewed exclusively each day via the Facebook page. On Monday, May 21st, Slash and his bandmates - Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums) and Todd Kerns (bass) - will head to New York to perform their single 'You’re A Lie' live on NBC TV’s Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Next, on Tuesday May 22nd, the group will perform a special sold-out New York City CD release show at Irving Plaza on the same day the album streets (May 22nd) via Dik Hayd International, distributed through EMI.

The Limited Edition In-Studio Book features 48 pages, perfect bound as a sumptuous coffee table book and chock full of in studio shots by Scott Uchida and album shots by Travis Shinn. The size is 12" x 12" to remind us of the heady days of vinyl and it is printed by Dreamworks on the 60 # rich archival paper. The cover is softbound and closes with a string and clasp much like an old binder. The shots are mostly black and white candids, a glimpse that most fans never get the opportunity to see.
