SLASH - Video Of Les Paul Award Presentation At NAMM 2015 Posted

On January 24th, guitar icon Slash (ex-Guns N' Roses) received the prestigious Les Paul Award during the 30th annual NAMM Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards in Anaheim, CA
Instituted in 1991, the Les Paul Award honors individuals or institutions that have set the highest standards of excellence in the creative application of audio and music technology. Slash joins a list of recipients including Pete Townshend, Paul McCartney, Brian Wilson, Stevie Wonder, Neil Young, Todd Rundgren and Peter Gabriel.
On February 5th, Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators performed their new single, "Bent To Fly”, on Conan (TBS). Watch footage here.
Slash also joined Conan O’Brien’s other guest on the show actor/musician Jeff Bridges for a jam on “Someone Else” from the film Crazy Heart.

The coming-of-age song “Bent To Fly” - a standout track off their studio album World On Fire - is already Top 20 at Active Rock. The track showcases Slash’s stellar guitar-work and frontman Myles Kennedy’s vocal command of both high and low ranges.
