SLASH - “We’re Working On New Material For The Next Record”

Although Slash and his band - Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators - will be on the road up until Christmas in support of their 2014 album World On Fire, recording its follow-up is most definitely on the horizon.

"We're working on new material for the next record," Slash tells Billboard. "When this tour's over we'll start going in and doing some pre-production and probably go into the studio some time in mid to late spring and record."

Slash and company performed at Hellfest 2015 in Clisson, France on June 20th. Pro-shot footage of the entire performance can be seen below; the band's setlist was as follows:

On September 25th, 2014, shortly after the release of their World On Fire album, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators took the stage at the legendary Roxy Theatre on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.

The atmospheric venue, steeped in rock history, gave fans a brilliant opportunity to experience the band up close as they delivered a set packed with more recent solo tracks, including several from the new album, and classics from Slash's earlier career with Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver. The intimate setting inspired the band to deliver a scintillating, dynamic performance, was released on June 16th on 2CD, DVD and Blu-Ray, and will be available on June 30th on 3LP set.
