Slovenia’s DEKADENT To Release Veritas Album In Early 2015

Slovenia’s atmospheric black metal quartet Dekadent will release their new album, Veritas, in early 2015.

Their fourth opus, which continues the musical path of their 2011 album, Venera: Trial & Tribulation, will be available on CD and digital formats. In keeping with the band’s creative audio-visual approach, it will also include a professionaly produced short film of the same title written and directed by Artur Felicijan, Dekadent founder and mastermind.

The frontman comments: “The songs are technically more challenging than anything we have done so far, while they still embody that typical Dekadent atmosphere. There are some new hints of progressive and death metal, but overall I believe we are offering a very glorious ‘white metal’ album we have always been known to deliver.”

Veritas was recorded with an emerging artist and producer Wulf (Neuotech). The film was created and produced by Artur Felicijan and Andraž Sedmak and is already garnering success at independent film festivals.

Dekadent parted ways last year with drummer Garghuf (Gorgoroth, Enthroned) and replaced him with Horvat (IVJE)

Dekadent 2014 is:

Artur - Guitars/Vocals/FX

Drouth - Bass

Gajwasz - Guitars

Horvat - Drums
