Virginia Beach, VA-based metallers SOLACE OF REQUIEM will be touring Europe from October 1st - 16th with Florida death metal legends RESURRECTION.

The tour was originally scheduled for May/June, but because of the festival season, the tour was postponed until October.

Says the band, "Many of the tour dates are still TBA but we have offers for most of them. Once the shows are confirmed, they will be added to the schedule accordingly. SOR would like to thank Conny with Knark Art Gallery and Bianca with Ferun Events for all their help, as well as Resurrection for agreeing to take part. The release date of Solace Of Requiem's third CD, The Great Awakening - produced by Andy Classen (KRISIUN, BELPHEGOR, ROTTING CHRIST) at Stage One Studio in Germany - has been postponed until October.

The CD was originally scheduled for release in June, but because of the postponement of the tour with Resurrection, the release date of the album has now been pushed back to coincide with the start of the tour.

The CD will now be available for purchase in October through the group's distribution outlets, directly from the band (Via PayPal) and at their live shows.
