Saint-Omer, France-based act SPIRIT have released their new album, Hommes Ou Diables, via Emanes Metal Records.

The adventure began twenty five years ago, in 1988. Two brothers - Christophe and Thierry Tripenne - who were hard rock fans, decided to create a band. But it took a while until things got serious, and their first EP titled S'enfuir, Mourir, was completed in 2006. Then they performed numerous shows and with their first concept album, Effacer Qui Je Suis (2008), Spirit became a major band in the French metal music landscape. The five fellows have metal in their blood and we can easily hear it in their songs: precise rhythm, powerful and melodic solos, influences ranging from hard rock to thrash metal, and all of this with French vocal lines.

The lineup featuring Christophe Tripenne (bass), Jean François Chapelet (drums), Christophe Dhedin (guitar) and Thierry Tripenne (guitar), was recently completed by singer Arnaud Ducrocq.

Hommes Ou Diables, the band's second full-length album, includes eleven heavy metal songs - for fans of classic metal acts such as IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST, METALLICA and TRUST.
