STATUS QUO Add Drummer Leon Cave To Band Lineup

Long-running British rockers STATUS QUO have announced the addition of drummer Leo Cave to the band's lineup. Leo also plays guitar and bass.
Says the band: "We're pleased to announce the new addition to Quo's engine room is Leon Cave. A hugely talented multi-instrumentalist, Leon has worked with Francis (Rossi) previously, has been in rehearsal with the band and will be playing his debut show on Saturday, May 25th at the Wolkenkratzer Festival in Frankfurt, Germany."

Status Quo are releasing a soundtrack to their first-ever feature film called Bula Quo!, a 90-minute action movie featuring the band as themselves and also starring Craig Fairbrass (Cliff Hanger, Rise Of The Footsoldier, Eastenders) and Laura Aikman (Keith Lemon The Movie, Freight, Surviving Picasso) with Jon Lovitz (Saturday Night Live, Friends, The Wedding Singer). The film was directed by Stuart St. Paul, who has worked on projects ranging from Duran Duran's seminal Wild Boys video, to Aliens, Batman and three Bond movies.
Bula Quo! - the new two CD album is due out on June 10th and features reworked or live versions of ten classic Status Quo hits including a Fijian-style rendition of ‘Living On An Island’.
The first single ‘Bula Bula Quo’ was premiered on BBC Radio 2 today, and can be heard here.
