STRYPER - Voting Open For First Round Of "Te Amo" Fan Video Contest

Stryper have checked in with the following message for their fans:

"The wait is over! After receiving numerous videos from fans all over the world, our judging panel has determined the Top 10 'Te Amo' fan videos. The winning video will now be up to you!

Here's how the fan voting process will work:

• Due to the variety of video styles that were submitted, it was decided to break the Top 10 videos into three categories (Concept Videos, Live Concert Videos & Lyric Videos).

• Each category will be open to public voting for a duration of one (1) week. The video with the highest number of YouTube likes will be declared the winner for that category.

• The winning video from each category will then face off against each other in a final round of voting which will determine the offcial 'Te Amo' fan video.

Round #1: Concept Videos

Voting Period: July 14th, 2014 (12:00am EST) - July 20th, 2014 (11:59pm EST)

How to vote: You must be signed in with your Google Account (YouTube, Google+, Gmail, Orkut, Picasa, or Chrome). Click on the YouTube (i.e. thumbs-up) button to 'Like' your favorite video."

Stryper frontman Michael Sweet recently checked in via the band's official Facebook page with the following tease:

"Robert and I are talking about recording a Roxx Regime album. Would be very cool to show you where it all began and how we sounded way back when!"

Stryper was originally known as Roxx Regime and worked as a trio until guitarist Oz Fox joined the ranks. When bassist Tim Gaines was brought on board they changed the band name to Stryper at the urging of their label.
