Sweden’s CORRODED Sign To Despotz Records; New Album Due In Spring 2017

Ånge, Sweden-based aggressive rock act, Corroded, have signed a multi-album deal with the ever expanding Despotz Records label. The band's new album, Defcon Zero, will see a worldwide release in the spring of 2017 and the deal includes the band's back catalogue: 2009's Eleven Shades Of Black, Exit To Transfer from 2010 and State Of Disgrace (2012). All three albums will see vinyl releases and finally be available digitally outside of Sweden.

The band states: "We are totally stoked to announce that we've now got Despotz as a new label partner. They have brought hard and heavy music to the public for a few years now.. We're looking forward to this cooperation as together with Despotz we will reach the next level. So CorrodedHeads stay tuned for the new single from our upcoming record.”

Corroded has topped the Swedish charts with every release to date. Musically the band is a crossbreed of metal and classic rock and they spend their lives on the road, having toured across Europe and hitting festival stages across the continent. The band's track, "Age Of Rage" (from Exit To Transfer) was used in the launch of the video game Battlefield - one of the game industry's most successful franchises - which pushed the song to gold status in Sweden in 2011.

Carl-Marcus Gidlof of Despotz Records says, "“Corroded have worked hard to build a faithful and broad support for their music, and we will now work together to take this out to the world, where we'll be using our strong reach both digitally and physically. We (Despotz Records) have had contact with Corroded for a while now and are very happy they chose to include us in their team, and it will be an honour to welcome them into the Despotz-family."
