Expressen are reporting that a Swedish citizen drowned after an Iron Maiden concert in Vienna, according to Vienna Online.

The incident is said to have occurred on Sunday at 10:30 PM after the metal fan saw Iron Maiden perform at the Rock In Vienna festival. Apparently the man wanted to cool off after the concert with a dip in the Danube river. He had gone swimming with a friend and suddenly fainted, said the Austrian media. He was pulled from the water and regained consciousness briefly, but later died in hospital.

“We are trying to get it confirmed by the Austrian authorities. If it was a Swedish citizen we'll find out who it was and identify the person,” says Joakim Edvardsson at the Foreign Ministry's press office.
