Teen Prog Rockers NEXT TO NONE Sign First Record Contract "With A Great Label"

American prog band Next To None featuring drummer Max Portnoy, the son of drum legend Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, ex-Dream Theater), have officially signed their first record deal.Mike checked in with the following update via Facebook:

"I can't give away the details yet, but yesterday Max and Next To None signed their first record contract and its a with a GREAT label)! I couldn't be prouder of my boy!! Honestly one of the happiest days of my life! Following his dreams and landing his first record deal a few days after his 16th birthday! More details to come soon..."

Next To None have been confirmed as direct support for Haken on the band's upcoming US tour. Dates are as follows:

April

25 - Detroit, MI - Token Lounge
26 - Chicago, IL - Reggie's
30 - New York, NY - Studio at Webster Hall

May

1 - Philadelphia, PA - Bull Shooters Saloon
3 - Springfield, VA - Empire
