In celebration of this year's Black Friday retail holiday, Prosthetic Records will release an exclusive LP pressing of The Acacia Strain's 2006 release The Dead Walk, which has never before been available on vinyl. Limited to 1,000 copies on "piggy pink" wax, the album will include a color lyric insert and original cover art by Paul Romano (Mastodon, Trivium, The Red Chord).
The Dead Walk LP will be available on November 28th at select independent record stores throughout North America, a list of which can be found at RecordStoreDay.com.
The Dead Walk marked the band's first appearance on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and was engineered, mixed and co-produced by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz (All That Remains, August Burns Red) while being mastered by Alan Douches (The Black Dahlia Murder, Hatebreed). The album -- the band's first to feature drummer Kevin Boutot -- includes the song "Predator; Never Prey" which features guest vocals from Phil Labonte (All That Remains) and Mitch Lucker (Suicide Silence).
