THE BIG DIRTY BAND, the one-off project featuring RUSH guitarist Alex Lifeson and singer/bassist Geddy Lee, along with former TEA PARTY drummer Jeff Burrows, Adam Gantier (THREE DAYS GRACE), THORNLEY's Ian Thornley, and singer Care Failure of Toronto thrash band DIE MANNEQUIN, have posted the cover of the BOBBY FULLER FOUR classic 'I Fought The Law' at this location.

The song is the first single/video from the upcoming Trailer Park Boys - The Soundtrack, which will be released by Anthem Records on October 3. The soundtrack coincides with the upcoming Alliance Atlantis film, Trailer Park Boys - The Movie. The video for the song - featuring the TPB characters of Ricky (Robb Wells), Bubbles (Mike Smith) and Julian (John Paul Tremblay) on the streets of Toronto - was directed by Juno Award winner Andrew McNaughton (Rush photographer).

The soundtrack also features a performance of 'Liquor & Whores' by BUBBLES & THE SHIT ROCKERS, who include Lifeson and BLACKIE & THE RODEO KINGS member and solo artist Tom Wilson.

The ALEXISONFIRE cover of BLACK SABBATH's ‘Sweet Leaf’ is also posted at the aforementioned link. The all-Canadian album also features songs from RUSH ('The Spirit Of Radio'), ROUGH TRADE, APRIL WINE ('I'm On Fire For You Baby'), THE TRAGICALLY HIP, WINTERSLEEP and SWOLLEN MEMBERS. Commentaries from Ricky, Bubbles and Julian are interspersed between tracks. Former HEADSTONES singer Hugh Dillon appears in the movie as a new character called Sonny. The film was written and directed by Mike Clattenburg and is expected in theatres next month.
